Terms and conditions

(PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMISSIONING)

GENERAL TERMS• I, the artist, have the right to refuse any commission that makes me
uncomfortable for any reason.
• The commissioner must provide references and a detailed description of the
subject they want to have commissioned.
• Any harassment towards me will result in me canceling the commission.
Refund is provided only if work hasn’t begun on the commission at the time of
cancellation, otherwise, there won’t be a refund. Regardless of the state of the
commission, the commissioner will be banned from commissioning me in the
future.PAYMENT• Payment required upfront or a 50% deposit at the start and the remaining 50% BEFORE sending the final HD piece (has to be discussed BEFORE ordering).
• The required currency is EUR.
• Payment must be fulfilled through PayPal.PROCESS AND DELIVERY• Discussion of the details of the commission and its price will be completed
before payment.
• Work will only begin on a commission once deposit has been received.
• After the deposit has been received, changes may be made as long as work
on the commission has not begun.
• Once an initial sketch has been completed, I will send that sketch to the
commissioner, and they will have the opportunity to request reasonable
changes.
• If I deem a request unreasonable, there will be an additional fee proportionate
to the size of the change. (The fee must then be paid before proceeding.)
• The final delivery will be a high resolution digital file (PNG, JPG, PDF, based on the commissioner's needs.)
• IMPORTANT: The commissioner will receive a digital product only. They will
not receive a physical, printed copy of the commission.TIMEFRAME• Commissions will be completed within three weeks of payment being received
unless otherwise negotiated.
• If I am unable to complete a commission within the timeframe agreed upon,
the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission with a full refund.
• Should any delays occur in my completion of the commission, I will alert the
commissioner as soon as possible.REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION• The commissioner has the right to cancel a commission for a full refund if and
only if work on the commission has not begun.
• I have the right to cancel a commission for a full refund at any point during
the commission. (I will likely only do this if something in my life prevents me
from finishing a commission in a timely manner)COPYRIGHT AND USE• I retain the rights to the finished commission.
• For personal (non commercial)
use.
The commissioner may NOT:
Sell copies, physical or otherwise, of the commission.
Monetize the commission in any way
Claim the artwork as belonging to them (they may claim the characters if
they are original)
Use the artwork as data in the training of artificial intelligence programs,
softwares, or algorithms
Include the artwork in datasets that may be used in the training of artificial
intelligence programs, softwares, or algorithms
The commissioner MAY:
Print the commission without the intent to distribute
Claim ownership of any original characters.
Post the art to social media and/or use the art as a header or profile picture
as long as proper credit is given clearly to me, the artist
• For commercial use, an additional fee will be applied based on the subtotal. The fee depends on the commissioner's needs.
• For commercial use
The commissioner MAY NOT:
Use the artwork as data in the training of artificial intelligence programs,
softwares, or algorithms
Include the artwork in datasets that may be used in the training of artificial
intelligence programs, softwares, or algorithms
Claim authorship on the artwork
Use the artwork for purposes not previously discussed
The commissioner MAY:
Use the artwork following the statement previously agreed
Claim ownership of any original characters, worlds, creatures and settings
